Does it tell me how to fix missing tags?

Why can't I check a localhost or internal URL?

The check runs from our server, which for security reasons is not allowed to fetch private, internal or local network addresses.

Does this work on password-protected pages?

No. The page must be publicly reachable without login, since the checker fetches it anonymously like a search engine crawler would.
