How is the fuel cost calculated?

Fuel needed is the distance divided by your mileage (or distance × L/100 km ÷ 100). That is multiplied by the fuel price, then tolls and parking are added. For a round trip the distance is doubled; tolls are taken as the total you enter.

What mileage should I enter?

Use your real-world figure if you know it; it is usually 10–20% lower than the company-claimed mileage, more in city traffic or with the air conditioning on. The starting values are typical Indian cars and can be changed.

Does it work for CNG and electric cars?

Yes. Choose CNG to enter mileage in km per kg and the price per kg, or Electric for km per kWh and the price per kWh (your home tariff or the charging station rate).

Can I use the distance from the GPS Speedometer?

Yes. If you tracked a trip with the GPS Speedometer in this browser, a "Use last GPS trip" link fills in its distance.
