Will the buzzer go off if my screen dims or I switch tabs?

Yes, in most browsers. The time-up buzzer is scheduled with the audio system as soon as you start, so it fires on time even if the tab is in the background. Keep the screen on option stops your phone from locking during a round.

Why can I not hear anything on my iPhone?

iPhones and iPads mute web page sounds when the silent switch is on. Flip the switch on the side of the phone and turn the volume up. Phones also only allow sound after you tap the page once, which pressing Start does.

How do I use it as a quiz buzzer?

Hold the red BUZZ button (or the B key on a keyboard) and the buzzer sounds for as long as you hold it. It works whether or not the timer is running, and you can choose the sound under Buzzer sound.

Can I add time during a round?

Yes. Use +10s or −10s while it runs. After time is up, Again restarts the same time for the next player or round.

How does Turns mode work?

Add the players or teams, and the timer shows whose turn it is and who is next. When time is up, give them a point and tap Next to hand over. Scores and the turn order are kept on this device, with a trophy on whoever is leading.

How does Rounds mode work?

Set the number of rounds and a break. Each round ends with the buzzer, the break counts down by itself and a bell starts the next round, until the game is over. Set the break to 0 to start each round yourself.

Does it work without internet?

Yes. Once you have opened it, it works offline, and you can install it on your phone's home screen to open it like an app.

What keyboard shortcuts are there?

Space starts and pauses, B sounds the buzzer while held, N moves to the next player, R resets and F toggles full screen. Handy with a laptop on the games table.
